The warm, tropical air greeted me as soon as I stepped off the plane. Upon arrival, I was also lucky enough to hear the sound of waves crashing against the shore. The trip was well worth it!

Overall, my visit, or rather, my adventure, was a phenomenal experience. One that I’ll never forget. At first, I was surprised by how much lava there was. I saw lava everywhere! It made me quickly come to appreciate the beauty of it and how it shaped the landscape over time once I explored the island.
What I loved most about Hawai’i is that there’s something for everyone. The beaches were absolutely stunning and all had different colored sand! You can see white sand, black sand, and everything in between there. And if you’re a nature lover, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the island’s natural wonders. For those who are interested in Hawaii culture (who wouldn’t be… it’s so rich!), there are many historical sites and cultural centers to visit.
