Renegade Coffee
Renegade is near and dear to my heart as it’s a local owned shop which is on the way to my girls’ schools — it’s smack dab in the middle of the elementary and the middle school they each go, so I have quite a few years left of visiting Renegade. They have your typical coffee shop options, but their lunch menu is extensive and often offers quite a few things you’d expect at a sit down restaurant like a tuna salad stuffed tomato, or vegan banana chocolate chip scone, to paninis. They come in clutch when I’m rushing out the door to get one kid and not be late picking up the other. They only have one location in Scottsdale and one in Mesa, so be sure to make the trip to check them out, you won’t be sorry: renegadecoffee
Sweet Brewz
Sweet Brewz is a locally owned coffee shop in Gilbert that is a total vibe from the moment you walk in the door. Total insta worthy moment! Sweet Brewz is unlike any other shop on this list, they actually have a roastery where you can purchase their beans and take them home with you! And the names are pretty amazing, if you are into fun things like me too! They have delicious espresso drinks, plus some great pastries like muffins, scones and cookies, as well as breakfast sandwiches. Plus they offer craft beer and wine too! Light Heart Coffee
Light Heart Coffee recently opened in North Scottsdale, right down the street from my home, and it totally lives up to its name, with a fun and light atmosphere for you to get your morning coffee fix. In addition to the coffee shop, they have rooms where people can receive beauty treatments, a wall of merchandise for purchase, and a beautiful interior if you want to bring your favorite photographer for a few photos! They have some really delicious pastries to choose from like their churros, biscotti, and muffins. Plus they offer nitro cold brew on tap which is worth the trip if you are visiting the North Valley.
